Paper installations

Art forms from books and magazines was the pastime today. Sky Rogers in her book Paper Bliss describes the easy technique of folding pages in a paperback to create a unique installation.

My first project was an old paperback. This photo is taken in front of the shape. The spine is visible at the base.

The same paperback, this time taken directly overhead. The spine is visible on the right and left.

The second project used 4 magazines - same title, different issues. Once the pages were folded, the covers of each magazine were hot glued together to create the shape here.

This photo shows the shape hanging from a wire which was inserted through the centre.

A great activity when you don't feel like thinking too much!

Maybe a Christmas decoration??

    1. The cone weighs a ton! I'm a bit worried it will fall on someone and knock them out! It's currently resting in a bowl.
